My Story is God’s

A few weeks ago, I asked my Instagram followers what they would like to see on this blog. As I begin to share more with you all, I hope it is content that you all would like to see! One of the things I was asked for was resources that helped me get through our tough times – Scripture Reading Plans, Blogs, Prayer Journal’s, Books, etc.

As all of the comments and suggestions came in, I began to think of what I want to exude from this blog. What is it that I want to share? At She Speaks Faith, I want everything that I write or share on this space to be seen through that lens – Faith

My faith was what the source of life that kept me going through the hard time. I remember sitting at our Ladies Conference last year, listening to my Pastor’s Wife speak, and one of the things she said still resonates with me today – “Write down your God moments” … Those moments where God did something for you. The truth of the matter is, it’s sometimes easy to forget the things God has done for you – from the smallest to the largest moment. We can easily become complacent like the Children of Israel when they were wandering in the wilderness. God delivered them from Pharaoh, but they still complained that they only had Manna to eat, and that they weren’t in the Promise Land yet.

When we stop to take a moment to write down what little thing God did for you – It allows you the chance to look back, and give Him the thanks that He is so worthy of.

Then I will praise God’s name with singing,
and I will honor him with thanksgiving.

Psalm 69:30

I took the time to write down a few God moments last year – but I know He did so much more for me. God was everything for me.

Where I was weak – He made me strong.
When I was lost in a situation, and didn’t know what to do – He guided me through it all.
When I felt alone – He made me feel loved
When I was insecure in myself – He showed me I was secure in Him.
When we didn’t know where our rent money was going to come from – He supplied
When anxiety came – He gave me peace
When I was confused – He gave me clarity

This list could go on and on. Those God moments, kept me going. Those God moments are pushing me to share my story. At the end of the day, my story is a testimony to the work that God has done in my life.

I want to encourage you all to do the same thing. Write down your God moments.

I have created for you all, a 28 DayShe Speaks Faith Prayer Journal. I pray that you can use this free printable to write down your God moments. To write our your prayers. Let your tears fall, as you begin to pour out your heart to God through the words you write. As I create content, I will share it with you all. I pray that these resources I create can be a blessing to you.

And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb and by the word of their testimony.
